Shah Rukh Khan and Crown of the King of Bollywood!

The branches of Indian Cinema is bloomed with many beautiful flowers. Dignitary actors like Dilip Kumar, Rajesh Khanna, and Amitabh Bachchan are some of the twigs of this flora and the only one who succeedingly was able to expand its branches and turning the tree of Indian Cinema into a huge and much more vivid state is none other than the king khan of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan.

Everything about King Khan is worth appreciating. From theatres to television and then stretching his limbs to Films, SRK is undeniably here to rule. Well, it is quite evident that the past 3 decades has been the kingdom of the Khans but the one who felicitously justified the place of sustaining these 3 decades with his unconventional art is no one other than Shah Rukh Khan.

Early life and the recognition of Shah Rukh Khan is not concealed from the people. Right from a small kid to an elderly person, everyone is well-aware of the career graph, achievements, and contribution of this actor. Thus, today, we are sparing you from learning about the regular attainments of the king Khan. We would instead take a stride into the atypical and eccentric acquisition of the Badshah of Bollywood.

An actor who gave a new arc to the craft of acting – Shah Rukh Khan!

In the era where every actor chose to stand in the queue of typical roles of hero, SRK twirled the chain and gave a new curvature. He swiftly started the trend of negative roles, prior to this, actors were considered hero only if they demonstrate a positive character. From the aeon when Shahrukh Khan commenced portraying the roles of antagonists, people fleetingly started cheering for actors regardless of the nature of the character. SRK is commonly being termed as the “King of Romance” but we believe he should be rather labelled as the “King of acting“.

SRK has exhibited his acting abilities in various fortes from a romantic character in Dilwale Dulhaniya le Jayenge to an extremely funny depiction in Chennai Express, he has never ever disappointed his fans from his side. His films may get misfired at the box-office but the off beaten path of his enactment is never too lame. Well, who would not know about his movies, his luxuriant performances, and his affluent charm? So, on that ground, let’s take peek into the depth of Shah Rukh Khan’s movies and some scenes which proves that he is the ultimate King of Bollywood.

Some intense scenes from Shah Rukh Khan’s movies

Baazigar (Revealing the truth to Madan Chopra)

With a savage smile and then quickly changing the gear into an enraged expression, this scene begins where Madan Chopra furiously questions Vicky for his betrayal. Shah Rukh then divulges his actual identity and challenges Madan Chopra and take a sigh of relief for the revenge he has been waiting for since the time he was a Kid.

Baazigar was offered to several other actors at that time but no one agreed to step into the shoe of grey shade. Mr. Khan boldly took this role and gave a new synonym to the term “Hero” in Bollywood.

Darr (Psychopath lover writing his crush’s name on his chest)

It is petrifying even today when we see that particular scene of the movie Darr; wherein, Rahul writes Kiran’s name on his chest and stammeringly utter her name K..k..k…k…Kiran. Tell me who else can play this role better than Khan? The answer is straightly no one. And this specific scene is an apt example that SRK is a born actor.

Darr was SRK’s second movie after Baazigar. Although he played negative roles in both these movies the acting in both the movies is poles apart. He distinctively played the role of antagonist leaving the audiences enamoured.

Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa (Insecurity of Sunil over Anna’s closeness to his lover)

Sunil’s insecurities will definitely melt your heart and you will surely blabber that Why Anna isn’t accepting his love. There are several instances in this one-sided love story of Sunil that will make your heart happy-cry simultaneously. But the church scene where Anna gets married to her bf Christopher is the most heart-touching scene. The insecurity and anxiety on the face of Sunil when he witnesses her crush getting married to someone will give tears in your eyes.

Personally, it feels like Kabhi Haa Kabhi Naa is Shah Rukh’s most underrated movie. The cute, cheerful, and emotional expressions of SRK has such nuances that will be felt deeply.

Chalte Chalte (Airport scene)

Do you remember the song “Layi Vi na gayi tanhayi vi na gayi” from the romantic movie Chalte- Chalte? Then you must have felt for him yet again. Shah Rukh is expression expertise and the various expression in one particular scene where he i.e. Raj tries his best to convince his wife Priya. He says nothing yet he expressed everything.

The way he has performed this scene appears like he did not apply any glycerin for weeping out his ardour.

Veer-Zaara (End speech of Veer Pratap Singh)

Mai qaidi number 786…..The monologue speech of elderly Veer Pratap Singh has a separate fan base to those who love SRK in romantic depiction. The heart-wrenching feels of a young energetic Indian pilot who spends his life in prison in Pakistan is benevolently narrated by him in this scene. The intense voice and shaken body language of Shah Rukh in this scene will soften even rock-hearted person.

His innocene, his charm, and the humanely nature of Veer towards Zaara is purely bliss to watch.

Chak De India (Coach Kabir Khan gets emotional after the team’s win)

Yet again, SRK won the memento of expression king with the scene where Kabir Khan gets emotional after watching his Hockey Team lifting up the trophy. All the sentiments burst out at a time when he is successful at accomplishing his ambition of the Indian Women Hockey team winning the world cup. The eyes filled with tears and the happily flustered postures of Khan is supreme in every aspect.

The tainted image of a coach having the tag of betrayal of his country for who joins Women National Hockey team to prove his loyalty. SRK is popular for choosing the roles written for others and this role too was written for Salman Khan. Now, can you imagine any other actor portraying this role?

Exclusive Mention

SRK is one such actor who hasn’t limited himself for certain roles. He has always been experimental. Films like Fan, Don, Paheli, Devdas, Raees, Zero, and My Name is Khan is a prolific example of his works.

By flagging off his contributions and extraordinary fan base across the globe Shah Rukh Khan is simply grammar to the term acting. On his 55th birthday on 2nd November, we wish him nothing but more achievements in his filmography.
