A small reminder to the travel bugs!! We all must have all discussed India’s best travel destinations, especially the hodophiles. They are very much ardent towards the places that have some exclusiveness or some great history associated with it. Thus, while going through some interesting facts about the Great Wall of China, I realized that we have our very own Great wall of India.

So, why to boon on the place that has already been known and appreciated oftentimes. Let’s have a sneak peek into the great wall that I believe needs to be recognized even more than that of the other over-hyped tourist spots.

A paragon that Rajasthan has – Kumbhalgarh

When we talk about the places to visit in Rajasthan, the topmost name that comes in the list is Bhangarh Quila. It is gradually famous for paranormal and occult activities. The places including Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Mewar Forts, and many more are enlisted too. The drifters and many other brainy people must have also heard about the Great Wall of India. Though, I thought it should be in my wishlist and for those who are enthusiasts of history and heritage.

Kumbhalgarh is located near Udaipur in the district of Rajsamand. It is the birthplace to the great Maharana Pratap Singh. This palatial fort is known for its longest wall structure on the Aravalli hills just after the Chittor fort. Covering an enormous area of 38km, this beauty is 3600 ft tall and perch above 1100m sea level. This grand fort was built by Rana Kumbha, Mewar king in the ancient time of 15th century. The most thrilling fact about this place is, it comprises around 360 temples together with Lord Shiva’s Neelkanth temple and Lord Ganesha’s temple.

Why The Great Wall of India should be on your card?

It has seven doors and each offers fascinating views. Well, this place is striking for the photographers. With the backdrop of clouds and greenery, this brownish-red wall is excitingly a must-visit destination for floaters. This fort is also hooked-up with Badal Mahal, which astonishingly gives you the privilege to delve into various tunnels while walking from the Kumbhal fort. It is beautifully engulfed in florals, royal gardens, and verdant. Be it for trekking, taking your partner, or family for a trip, this place is the onliest haven for the traveling aspects.
